hmm... some random thoughts i'd like to get down since i have nothing else to do...
1. i hid easter eggs around school for the easter egg hunt that they are having in the am. i haven't hidden easter eggs since junior or senior year of college. it was only for one person and there were only maybe 6 eggs. hiding eggs is fun, kinda.
2. some of the kids played red rover and duck duck goose earlier tonight - it made me miss the first graders.
3. one of the kids here, probably a secret favorite, asked me about my stepdad and i thought that was really sweet of her. she is probably going to be asked to leave because she has gotten a little chunky. :(
4. i have 7 weeks left of the school year. i get a break for a couple weeks, then start back for summer session. then i'll have all of august off.
5. my roomie is moving to new york in august... so i have to find a new roomie for next year. i only want to live here until i finish grad school, then who knows where i'll go... the land where all kids are nice little first graders that adore me and books?

I wish the publishing world was in DC cause I would stay in our little apartment until one of us got married (probably you first)...
