In the chaos that April has ushered in... I've forgotten to highlight the anniversaries of two pivotal events in my life.
One actually occurred today, two years ago. My grandma died. She was and always will be my soulmate. I wonder how different my life would have been if she had not gone back to Singapore when I was in middle school. I would probably be a much different person.
The other one occurred a year ago in the early morning of April 2nd. I realized the fulfillment of a life fantasy (sorry for being vague, but I know someone knows what I'm talking about)... and I learned that things aren't all they are cracked up to be. Unadulterated idolization from afar does not equal chemistry and I'm ok with that. Oh well...
