Sometimes old people are funny. They try to tell you how to do things, despite the fact that some of their techniques are completely outdated, prehistoric even. An older co-worker was trying to instruct me on how to fill out some sheet. Now, this is something that I've been doing for awhile now, and have had no complaints about until today. I made a minor mistake because some of the books were out of order and he proceeds to give me a 15 minute tutorial. I didn't mind, I'm at work, I've got time to kill. And I did learn about a few nuances that I didn't know before (space versus no space, all caps for months... really IMPORTANT stuff...). What I did mind, however was that he acted like he knew everything. And sorry, Mr. Man... you don't. I later had to correct a few mistakes that he had made, but I didn't feel the need to go over and give him a lecture about it. It's not my style. Hopefully, I won't become one of those old people.
